Summary of Ministry
1. What accomplishments in your ministry can we celebrate this month?
SEPTEMBER 2012- Did some follow-up work on resubmitting the Summer Missions application for New Day Fellowship-Haugen for NAMB approval. Followed-up on application updates for Semester Missionary positions for both Pablo B.C. and Park Street B.C./Montana Tech BSU ministries. Followed-up with Treasure State Association with Jessica Crusch on status of application for Summer Missionaries 2013. Application is in process of being submitted. Attended the TSBA Annual associational meeting in Whitehall and made an announcement of encouraging the use of Summer/Semester Missionaries for use in everyone’s church planting efforts.
2. What are your ministry plans for next month?
For OCTOBER, will be attending the MTSBC Annual Meeting in Helena –Oct 2-3. Participating in an “On Mission Conference” in Paris, TN – Oct. 12-15. Will be guest speaker at Madison Valley B.C. – Ennis, MT on October 28th. Several endeavors regarding my local community, ministry non-profit & MSC pursuits and local church.
3. What is working well?
Being able to share my faith and my journey with God more often through my community connections! Helping Summer/Semester supervisors with the application process to acquire Missionaries for their ministry endeavors.
4. What is missing or needs improvement?
Nothing new this month.
5. What are your plans to take care of your Spiritual, Physical and Family needs next month?
Continue with daily devotional time and my prayer time. Continuing to use the “Jesus Calling” devotional. Would like to carve out time to do more “leisure reading” of recommended books on my list of books. I continue to run consistently and just ran my best PR in the Bozeman Half Marathon on Sept. 9th. It was absolutely amazing if I may say so.
6. Any other matters of interest?
I am very excited about the “planting” of a new outdoor church/worship service, complete with timber wood cross at Moonlight Ski Basin! As other parts of US are taking away Christian symbols, we are adding another here in Big Sky, Montana. Thanks be to God! I passed my written exams (4 of them) to acquire my Learner’s permit to train and to take the School Bus Driver exam, WHICH is now scheduled for October 23rd in Bozeman! I am the newest bus driver at our local Big Sky School District #72.
7. How can we pray for you?
Pray for my unsaved friends and those with whom I am in contact on a weekly basis. Pray for continued health of my parents in Lake Charles, LA. They just became 75 (mom 9/21st) and 76 (dad 9/22nd) years old this month. Pray for the stamina that I need to balance everything that’s on my plate for financial employment resources, ministry opportunities, evangelism, and the mentoring relationships that God has placed in my life. Continued prayer for my financial resources to continue ministry as a MSC (self-funded) Missionary.
