Summary of Ministry

1. What accomplishments in your ministry can we celebrate this month?
AUGUST 2012- Conducted the Summer Missionary Debriefing on Aug. 7-9th in Church Hill, MT. Submitted Summer Missionary (PDF files) evaluations to Stan Bricker. Had a special day of touring and sharing Yellowstone with the entire team. Communicated with MTSBC pastors regarding submission of application for Summer Missionaries for Summer of 2013. Submitted Summer Missionary and Semester Missionary requests with ministries at Big Sky Fellowship-Helena, Outdoorsmen Church-Missoula, New Day Fellowship-Haugen, South Hills –Montana City and Pablo Baptist – Pablo, MT. Others are in the works. Had a great conversation with Nanette Smith regarding TN Collegiate Missions partnership. Officiated Yellowstone Innovators (Staff 2007) wedding in Woodstock, GA and spoke at FBC, Cornelia, GA along with many other MSC potential connections in the Georgia area.
2. What are your ministry plans for next month?
For SEPTEMBER, will be working on continued promotion of MTSBC requests for Summer & Semester Missions 2013 to continue submitting to NAMB Collegiate Missions Mobilization. Attend Treasure State Association Annual meeting in Whitehall- Sept. 23rd. Several endeavors regarding my local community, ministry non-profit & MSC pursuits and local church.
3. What is working well?
Networking with potential Summer/Semester supervisors and helping them with the application process. Being able to share my faith and my journey with God more often through my community connections!
4. What is missing or needs improvement?
Nothing new this month.

5. What are your plans to take care of your Spiritual, Physical and Family needs next month?
Continue with daily devotional time and my prayer time. Currently using the “Jesus Calling” devotional. Would like to carve out time to do more “leisure reading” of recommended books on my list of books. I continue to run consistently and just ran my best PR in the Bozeman Half Marathon. It was absolutely amazing if I may say so.

6. Any other matters of interest?
We baptized THREE new Christians in Big Sky! And, I have exciting news about the “planting” of a new outdoor church/worship service, complete with timber wood cross- TBA. I passed my written exams (4 of them) to acquire my Learner’s permit to training and take the School Bus Driver exam in preparation and acceptance of a bus driver position at our local Big Sky elementary/high school district.

7. How can we pray for you?
Pray for my unsaved friends and those with whom I am in contact on a weekly basis. Pray for the health of my parents in Lake Charles, LA. Pray for the continued ministries of the Sojourners, Innovator and Summer missionaries that have served in Montana this summer. Pray for the stamina that I need to balance everything that’s on my plate for ministry resources, evangelism, coordinating of the Summer Missionaries and the mentoring relationships that God has placed in my life. Continued prayer for my financial resources to continue ministry as a MSC (self-funded) Missionary.
